Big Sky Ski Week
Rental Options
Ski-in/ski-out homes at the base of Lone Peak for the week of March 4–11, 2027. Every property below was checked live against Big Sky Vacation Rentals' calendar, with all-in pricing including taxes and fees.

Black Eagle Lodges
The closest homes to the lifts, steps from Mountain Village. Summit and Sanctuary are open the full week. Vista and Lookout cover part of it, and the rest are booked or only have gaps shorter than the minimum stay. Big Sky Vacation Rentals has confirmed these units can’t be discounted. Each strip shows March 1–13, 2027, with the Ski Week nights (Mar 4–10) highlighted.
Walkable to Mountain Village
If the priority is walking to the lifts, dinner and drinks, three developments stand out: Black Eagle for the best match, Big Horn for value and location, and Beaverhead for more space. Walk times are approximate, measured to Village Center.
| Property | Approx. walk to Village Center | Why it works |
|---|---|---|
| Shoshone Condominium Hotel | Condo hotel · 1BR+ unitsProbably the strongest mix of condo space and a truly central location. Full kitchens, living areas, pool and hot tubs. Privately managed units also appear as rentals. | |
| Stillwater Condominiums | 1–2BR condosSmall condos right beside Mountain Village. Big Sky Resort describes them as a short walk to the village and lifts. | |
| Big Horn Condominiums Best value + location | 1–3BR condos, mostly 3BRKitchens, garages and fireplaces, and a very easy walk into the village. One 3BR/3BA unit sleeps 8 steps from the Bear Back poma; a few units sit closer to 10 minutes out. | |
| Black Eagle Lodges Best match | 4BR townhomes · ~3,000–3,200 ft²The pick for an upscale, house-like rental. Multi-level ski-in/ski-out townhomes, most with private hot tubs and garages. Summit and Sanctuary are open the full week (see above); Retreat, Vista and Overlook are worth watching. | |
| Beaverhead Condominiums More space | 3–4BR · ~2,000–3,000 ft²More space for a group, with ski access via White Wing and Explorer. Beaverhead Village Retreat (4BR, sleeps 14) showed open for March 4–11 at $13,848.80 all-in on bookbigsky.com; Beaverhead Alpine Villa is 3BR/3BA for 9. | |
| Powder Ridge Cabins Behind Black Eagle | 3–5BR standalone cabinsThe most standalone-home feel, often with hot tubs and ski-in/ski-out access, but the walk to dinner and drinks in the village is less effortless than from the options above. |
Or stay at the base itself
If the group doesn’t need a private house, Big Sky Resort’s four core Mountain Village hotels are all central and slopeside, steps from the lifts, restaurants and shops.

Two Black Eagle Lodges are open for the full week, both around $16K. Big Sky Vacation Rentals has confirmed there is no sponsorship or group discount on Black Eagle, so the budget path runs through the Powder Ridge Cabins, where ten homes are open for all or nearly all of the week. Stay Montana adds six more homes at Firelight in Big Sky’s Meadow Village, each with a private hot tub and under $5K for the full week, and is offering our group 15% off.

Stay Montana at Firelight
Stay Montana’s custom quote covered February 5–11. We re-checked every home on staymontana.com for Ski Week. Six are open March 4–11, one is open for the back half of the week, and one is booked. These townhomes sit in Meadow Village, about 7 miles (a 15-minute drive) from the Big Sky Resort base, so plan on a shuttle or car rather than ski-in/ski-out. Together the six full-week homes sleep 40 for $26,676.63 before the group discount.
Totals are staymontana.com’s live price for these dates, including taxes and fees. Figures “with 15% off” are estimates taken off the full total; the exact amount depends on how Stay Montana applies the discount to taxes and fees. The emailed February quote came in slightly higher than the site for the same dates, likely because of optional add-ons, so confirm the final figure at checkout.

On sponsorship and pricing
- No sponsorship programGroup bookings aren't eligible for a sponsor arrangement or tax-deductible exchange.
- Black Eagle is full priceOwners won't discount these units during peak dates.
- Powder Ridge is the budget pathRates are near last month's and won't go lower.
At this time, we don’t have a sponsorship program available for group bookings. Each of our homes is individually owned, and not all owners allow discounts, especially during peak dates. Because the Black Eagle Lodges are among the most in‑demand properties in Big Sky, particularly for their exceptional ski‑in/ski‑out access, we’re not able to offer discounts on those units.
To stay closest to your budget, the Powder Ridge Cabins are going to be your best option. They offer excellent ski access, which consistently ranks as the #1 searched and requested amenity among guests, and they are priced significantly lower than comparable homes in the area. After reviewing rates across the market, our current pricing is already very competitive for both Black Eagle and Powder Ridge, so there isn’t any additional room to lower them further. Powder Ridge is only slightly above last month’s rates, and we’re not able to reduce it below that.
